CSI Miami Analysis

There are an equal amount of different gender representations throughout the CSI Miami opening credits sequence. A large number of male and female characters are present throughout this. There are both different types of race, which makes the show appeal to a more wider audience as the cast isn't just filled with "White Americans."

David Caruso's chracter seems to be more like the detective who sees more of the action than what the other members of the team do. He also seems to be confident in the way he is. When we see him on the speedboat and coming out of the lift, he looks confident in himself and it gives him the characteristics to lead the team.

All of the other characters that are present throughout the sequence are more like sidekicks. Emily Procter seems to be in the same league as David Caruso's character, but she seems like she works more behind the scenes than what he does. The sequence does well to make the other characters look more side kicks as David Caruso's and Emily Procter's character, as the sequence doesn't spend as long focusing on the other characters.

Lego Opening Title Sequence Thingy

We're doing CSI: Miami for our lego opening title sequence. I guess we'll be using the lego that are in the class for all of our characters. We need to make sure that we get all of the shots right. I think getting the correct background will be a challenge, but it should hopefully go okay. I don't know how we're going to do it, but who knows?

Homework

A coverage can sometimes be the size of an image a camera can produce or it is the amount of footage shot and the different camera setups that used in filming a scene. Cut-aways are
the interruption of a continuously filmed action by inserting a view of something else, which may involve focusing on another character's reaction to what another character might be saying. It sometimes cuts back to the first shot of what's happening, buit it doesn't always happen.

Thanks for listening, people: )

Hmm

For our latest task on the wonderful Creative and Media course, we had to create a list of different tv dramas and the different genres of which they fall into. The bombshell then came that we had to transfer them onto the London Underground Tube Map. At first, i thought they were having a laugh, then i realised that they were actually being serious.

Today, i started off by making a list of the different tv programmes that have had spinoffs made from them. I managed to come up with a list of twenty five. I then made a list of youth programmes and managed to get a list of ten. I had to stop because of break.

When we came back after break, and i worked with Matt L, Tara and Philippa. We came up with the list of what categories of genres the different tv programmes fell into and gave them to the people who decided what Tube line they were to go on. Everyone else were doing what they were doing.

I think our group managed to get all of the programmes into the right and categories and i think the only thing that we need to do now is to get them on the right tube line, which will probably be a long and daunting task, but we may get there eventaully. I really enjoyed working with everyone today, we all got on well and worked great together. I hope that this continues to happen.

Thanks, guys!
